CQC stands for the Care Quality Commission. They are the national regulatory body for all adult care services. Their aim is to promote improvements in social care for the benefit of people who use care services. They do this with regular inspections to ensure that we are following the National Minimum Standards. After each inspection a report is published with their findings.
